Lot Attendant

Job Description:

The Dealership lot attendant works closely with the General Sales Manager and Pre-owned Vehicle Manager and is responsible for new and used vehicle inventory


1)    Verifies receipt of new and pre-owned vehicles delivered to dealer and parks cars in new car lot in orderly manner: Compares serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice.

2)    Inspects cars to detect damage and to verify presence of accessories listed on invoice, such as spare tires and radio and stereo equipment.

3)    Records description of damages and lists missing items on delivery receipt

4)    Coordinates vehicle prep and detailing as well as vehicle photography.

5)    Parks new cars in assigned area according to model.

6)    Assigns stock control numbers to cars, and catalogs and stores keys.

7)    Re-parks cars, following sales, to maximize use of space and maintain lot in order.

8)    Delivers sold cars to new car preparation department.

9)    Services cars in storage to protect tires, battery, and finish against deterioration.

10) Directs activities of sales and service porters.

Automotive Body Shop Technician

As a Body Shop Technician you will be responsible for performing automotive repairs and service as assigned in accordance with manufacturer and insurance standards.

Perform work as outlined on repair orders.

Examine damaged vehicles to estimate repair procedures.

Vehicle Detailer (Troy)

Job Description: 

-Prep, clean and detail new and pre-owned vehicles for showroom display and customer delivery

-Performs variety of vehicle cleaning tasks such as (but not limited to) washing, polishing, buffing, interior cleaning and window cleaning.

- Cleans upholstery, rugs and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devices.

- Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components.

- Remove factory stickers and protective items from new vehicles and apply dealership decal stickers and logo plates.

- Inspects quality of work performed to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Communicate with service staff and external customers in a friendly and professional manner.

- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.


- High School Diploma or equivalent required

- Valid and current Driver's License with clean driving record

- Experience as auto detailer preferred

- Ability to maintain a good driving record

Job Duties

Preparing vehicles to be serviced by putting down mats and plastic to protect interiors, making key tags and driving vehicles from the service lanes to the service stalls.

Moving vehicles not currently being serviced and keeping an orderly area so that vehicles can be easily found and moved.
